Beware the E-Personation

The Tatong Tattler email a/c has been spoofed. It has NOT been hacked. Instead, malware from someone's infected computer has hijacked the address list, and the "name" Tatong Tattler. Since then, email pretending to be from us, carrying nasty malware, does the rounds. Such email will have "TatongTattler" before the "@" of the sending address, but come from a different domain (not yahoo.com.au). It will contain something like "Hi!" then only a link.
! Note  ! An email with brief  impersonal text then and a link, is ALWAYS suspicious.
Also note; a means of avoiding this is to use BCC when sending large group emails. It does wreck using "Reply All" for consequent discussions.

"I love deadlines. I love the whooshing noise they make as they go by." - Douglas Adams [ref]

The Tattler Deadline is Midnight on the 20th of the month.
- That is for digital submissions; Hand-written items, or anything needing to be typed or converted to digital format, must be received by the 15th of the month.

Submit via e-mail to Tatongtattler at yahoo.com.au
Or leave items for the Tattler in the Tattler mailbox (by the noticeboard at the Tavern)
Or mail articles to the Secretary; see Contacts

If you need help with your submission, contact a Committee Member (well before the deadline).

Items received after the deadline can still be printed in the next month's edition.
